(Introductory Paragraph – Short and concise)
In this post, prepared to test the blog section of our website, we’ll take a brief journey through some of the places Anatolian Creative draws inspiration from during our creative processes. This text is only a trial.
(Main Paragraphs – Could try list or bullet point format)
Game design, especially for narrative-focused RPGs, is a process fed by a wide variety of sources. For us, inspiration doesn’t just come from other games:
-
Literature: From classics to modern works, literature is an endless resource for us, especially regarding character depth, thematic exploration, and atmosphere creation. We are influenced by many writers, from Dostoevsky’s psychological depth to Borges’ labyrinthine narratives.
-
Philosophy: Existential inquiries, ethical dilemmas, and the nature of reality are significant areas we turn to for adding layered meaning to our games. Philosophical thought often aids us in shaping character motivations and the core conflicts of our worlds.
-
History and Mythology: Past events, myths, and beliefs from different cultures are rich veins to mine for both world-building and creating original stories. The cultural and historical heritage of the Anatolian region, as reflected in our name, is a particular source of inspiration for us.
-
Other Art Forms: Cinema, painting, music, and other arts guide us in defining visual atmosphere, emotional tone, and narrative rhythm. To capture the feeling of a scene, we sometimes start with a film still or a piece of music.
(Concluding Paragraph)
We aim to combine the inspiration drawn from these diverse disciplines with innovative game mechanics to create unique and unforgettable RPG experiences. This test post allowed us to experiment with the format for our future content.
